The mission of the Dawson McAllister Association is simple:


To reach, rescue and restore America�s

teenagers and young adults.


Dawson McAllister Association is seeking a champion to market and build its Online Community of Hope. We need someone with a heart for ministry who has a vision for marketing, who can leverage the internet�s possibilities, execute plans and get results that will allow our web presence to impact the lives of the millions of teens and young adults who reach out to us!


This person will design marketing strategies and develop our internet presence into a powerful and effective ministry resource to reach and help teenagers and young adults as well as bring together our radio partners, prayer team members and donors. In other words, you would be responsible for assuring that our marketing efforts and website design meet the needs of our ministry while remaining culturally relevant, visually appealing and media rich. Thus, attractive to the people we are trying to reach.


This position reports directly to the CEO and is a member of the Senior Leadership Team.

This successful candidate will posses:


Education: Minimum of an Associates Degree from an accredited college or university.


Experience developing plans, carrying out strategic initiatives, and compiling/managing department budgets;
General marketing experience;
The ability to oversee activities associated with web site and marketing operations, including: development, design, implementation, maintenance, operations, delivery and service;
Experience with preparing and evaluating proposals for services from providers;
Experience with managing vendors and other external parties for procurement of services and products for ongoing operations;
The ability to track progress and manage resources;
The ability to manage and prioritize the numerous requests by various departments that rely on the marketing and web applications;
TQM/Process Improvement experience;
Online relational database management systems, multimedia, teaching and training, content management systems, web applications development and testing;
Experience with HTML and CSS programming;
Experience with Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator;
Keen understanding of Social Media and Web trends;
Strong writing skills and experience writing copy/content;
Competent user of standard Microsoft productivity software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.);
Ability to travel on limited basis. A team player who is called to serve the Lord by using the skills and abilities listed above.

Other preferred skill sets:


Strong presentation and communication skills;
Ability to facilitate outcomes from a broad group of input providers (Ex: customer feedback and brainstorming groups);
Experience in designing and reporting appropriate quality measures to track effectiveness of marketing efforts and web applications, from both internal and external customer perspectives;
Experience in web advertising and promotion;
Clear understanding of issues facing teens and young adults in today�s world.
