Insight for Living, the Bible-teaching radio ministry of Chuck Swindoll, is committed to excellence in communicating the truths of Scripture and the person of Jesus Christ in an accurate, clear, and practical manner. Our desire is for people to grow in their understanding of God’s plan for their lives and also to mature as authentic Christians in a needy, hostile, and desperate world.
The primary vehicle to accomplish this mission is a half-hour radio broadcast distributed both domestically and internationally. This program, along with a biblically based counseling service, Bible study guides, books, compact discs, MP3s, and other materials, supports our purpose of communicating biblical truth and its application. We are wholly dedicated to this calling.
In order to accomplish the mission stated above, Insight for Living is made up of many behind-the-scenes support ministries:
The Pastoral Ministries department comprises seminary-trained pastors and women’s counselors who help meet the spiritual needs of Insight for Living’s listeners around the world through pastoral counseling and training others for ministry.
Special Needs Ministry: A growing number of families today face challenges due to a child or family member who suffers from neurological, behavioral, or developmental disorders. These families require a network of support to help ease the stress of providing ongoing care.
International Ministries: Insight for Living strives to proclaim the message of Jesus Christ around the world to spiritually hungry people in languages and cultural contexts they can understand.
Web Ministries: We desire to offer our worldwide listeners and supporters instant, round-the-clock, and convenient access to a wide variety of biblical media resources that can only be made available through the Web.
Living Bridge Media: An in-house media agency to serve as a liaison between radio stations and the ministry. As a result, Living Bridge Media has become the production, marketing, and syndication arm of Insight for Living.
Listener Ministries: Other than the Insight for Living radio broadcast, Listener Ministries serves as the main voice and ears of the ministry because this is the department that answers the phones and opens the incoming mail. Every day, our 15 employees receive an average of 300 calls, 700 pieces of mail, and 50 to 100 e-mail inquiries.
Insight for Kids: We are committed to teaching biblical theology progressively as children grow spiritually. To this end, we are developing ministry resources to assist parents in training their children in the three primary stages of spiritual development.
Creative Ministries: The Creative Ministries department is responsible for the content of all material published by Insight for Living via print and electronic media.
