Gospel for Asia's mission is to be devout followers of Christ and to fulfill the Great Commission among the unreached in Asia through training, sending out and assisting qualified laborers in partnership with the Body of Christ.
GFA is a charter member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA).
GFA DISTINCTIVES
> 100 percent of Support Dollars Sent to the Field.
When a donor sends in the funds for a native missionary or mission project, nothing is deducted for administrative purposes—100 percent is sent directly to the mission field for its intended purpose.
> Focusing on the Unreached
Our focus and goal as a ministry is to reach people in the 10/40 Window who have never heard about God's love. Nearly 3 billion people in the world are still unreached with the Gospel. In India alone, there are over 500,000 villages with no Gospel witness.
> Training and Sending Native Missionaries
Native missionaries have few or no cultural barriers to overcome. They can readily share the Gospel with those who, unlike their western counterparts, have never heard. While national workers do face difficult obstacles as they take the message from village to village, they still have an enormous advantage over their co-workers from North America and other non-Asian lands.
> Tremendous Results by God's Grace
Because of their faithfulness and willingness to sacrifice, native missionaries have been able to share the love of Jesus Christ with literally millions of men, women and children who had never heard His name. Across Asia today, believers joyfully worship the Lord in places where no church existed before.
But none of this has come easily. GFA-supported native missionaries are paying a high price of suffering, hardship and intense persecution to see reach people with Christ's love.
The churches that have emerged in each culture are truly indigenous in character, self-governing, self-propagating and, as soon as possible, self-supporting.

GFA is committed to sending 100 percent of all missionary support donations to the mission field; nothing is taken out for administrative expenses. Therefore, to cover their salary and health insurance, home team staff people put together their own personal support team—family, friends, churches and others—who will partner with them by prayer and by sending financial gifts to GFA for their support. In this way, they are able to serve at no expense to the mission field, and each one has a team of people to hold them up in prayer. GFA provides training, materials and a mentor to help new staff raise their support team.
Support levels are based on need, not on position or seniority, and provide GFA staff with a modest living in the Dallas area.
Serving with GFA is definitely a calling, not an occupation, that includes your whole family. Both spouses are asked to apply to serve together to the extent possible given other family responsibilities. We also ask new staff to make a two-year minimum commitment to the ministry.
You won’t get rich nor build a personal name for yourself at GFA. However, you will be amassing treasure in heaven! Through your sacrificial service, potentially millions of people in Asia will hear about Jesus and receive eternal life through Him.
