Joy Ranch provides a safe, stable, and loving home founded on Christ’s love to boys and girls from crisis situations. We believe that each child who comes to us is first and foremost a kid and needs a safe, supportive environment; that means movie nights, water gun fights, homework time, road trips, chores, being silly, and all of the other typical parts of being a kid. 

There is also another side to each of our kids: each child that comes to us comes from a difficult, painful situation. Many of our children have faced trauma, heartache, and loss, and many come from broken homes.

Our team receives ongoing training and understands that our children are in many ways typcial, goofy, growing kids, but each team member is also trained to recognize that all of our children come to us from a place of hurt and need.

All successful applicants will be subject to a criminal background check, a child protective services check, drug screening, the possession of or the ability to obtain an appropriate Virginia Driver’s License, and have a good driving record.
