Employment at Toledo Christian Schools is open to qualified individuals who are Christians of good character, without regard or reference to race, sex (gender), national or ethnic origin, color, age, or disability. Toledo Christian Schools is a religious educational ministry, permitted to discriminate on the basis of religion. All prospective and current employees must agree with Toledo Christian Schools’ mission statement, and they must be willing to conduct their lives in conformity with the school’s statement of faith and the school’s declaration and agreement to ethical and moral integrity.
As a requirement of employment, all employees are required to obtain a baseline BCI and a FBI background check once every five (5) years*, as long as the employee does not move out of state during that time. *Background check requirements are determined by the Ohio Department of Education. All volunteers in direct contact with students are required to annually submit to a background check with Protect My Ministry.
